WHO GIVES A GIFT?
What do you get when the love of music, grassroots promotion, and largesse intersect?

The Who Gives A Gift program! Since 2003, Who Gives A Shirt? has been including free sampler CDs and promotional items for customers purchasing from our website.

The benefits? Artists and labels get a chance to reach some new ears; our customers get a free gift and - hopefully - a new favourite band or song; and WGAS gets some warm fuzzy feelings for bringing the two together! All participants will get a mention and a link at the bottom of this page, and current participants get a mention on the homepage.

The audience - my customers - are usually music aficionados (given the nature of this site, that shouldn't be a surprise!). The largest percentage of my sales are to the U.S. and Canada, but I have also shipped shirts to Australia, Britain, Ireland, Japan and virtually every country in Europe!

The costs are negligible - you pay for the CDs/promo items and their shipping to WGAS, and we'll pay to ship them to our customers. You can send as few or as many* items as you wish; One or two CDs? 5 keychains? 25 samplers? Stickers galore? It's all good!

The "riders" - specific requests as to how your items are sent - I'll leave to you: Only want them sent to people buying music tees? I can do that. Only want them sent to customers buying classic rock music tees? I can do that too! Only want them sent to customers buying classic rock music tees with the word "Led" on them? Well, OK, but your best success would come from sending them out to any customer buying any kind of shirt... And I can do that! :)

Three-and-a-half provisos:
First, some of our shirts can be quite bulky when folded, so if you're sending items rather than CDs, please insure they are light and relatively small. We prefer samplers to be encased in paper or plastic sleeves, rather than bulky jewel cases.
Second*, no more than 25 items per company will be sent per "round." We'd like to be able to rotate our offerings and give other artists a chance too. That said (here are the provisos to the proviso), extra CDs can always be distributed to our family and friends, who are as music-crazy as we are; you are still welcome to call us up a few months later, when a new sampler or product is available (Round 2!); and stickers are always fine no matter the quantity...
Third, if your CD or item contains potentially offensive materials, please use your discretion in sending it. Alternately, please inform us of it beforehand, and we'll use our discretion in sending it out - we do get the occasional 'faint-of-heart' customer!
The "half-proviso" applies only to non-Canadian participants: Please mark your packages clearly as SAMPLES, or Canada Customs will find yet another reason to grab our ankles and shake until the money comes out.
