I had already started to photograph this wonderfully rusted bike when I noticed the hilarious, hand painted “Rust In Peace” on it. One of the many photogenic sights awaiting the brave tourist who climbs down the stone steps to Paris’ Canal de l’Ourcq. Who knew there was a whole new waterborne world just a few feet away from the traffic of Bastille?
