Description
This set of nine Toronto-themed blocks represent some of my favourite landmarks in the city: The green-domed St Lawrence Hall, the CN Tower, the Armoury, Honest Ed’s, the Toronto map in Graffiti Alley, a Chinatown dumpling house, the brick houses in the Annex, the Tip Top Tailors building, and the Queen Street Viaduct.
This listing is for nine separate, solid pine wood photo block typically described as 4×4 inches, though the milled size puts them closer to 3.5 inches square. They are just shy of 1 inch deep. The toner print is applied and revealed by hand, and is drawn from my personal photography. The back of the piece is titled, signed and dated in ink. You may receive different prints to the ones shown in this listing’s photographs. The blocks do not line up perfectly flush, giving them a shabby chic/boho look.
The blocks are sold without any hanging hardware. I recommend mounting them with Command Strips, arranging them in a deep frame, or standing it upright on a desk, shelf or mantelpiece – it will stand on any flat surface. Note that the wood will deepen into a honey colour with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight (I think this makes the wood look nicer!)
