The Sainte Chapelle is one of my favourite places in Paris. The 13th century chapel is a glorious stone Gothic building filled with beautiful stained glass windows that light up when the sun hits them. It is Paris’ jewel box. The medieval windows are so distractingly pretty that it took me a few visits to notice the floor was gorgeous too: Inlaid in red, blue, green, white and black stone, cut into flower and animal shapes. These are the large heraldic tiles featuring royal imagery such as hunting dogs, lions, castles, and the fleur de lys of the Bourbon monarchs. All are bold designs that leap off the tile!

This listing is for a set of 4 tumbled stone tile magnets which are hand-made with toner prints of my photos depicting the large floor tiles in monochrome black and white. They are backed with a strong ceramic magnet which has been securely glued in place. You will receive a different magnet set to the one pictured in this listing; each 2×2″ stone tile bears different pits and cracks, so every handcrafted magnet set is unique. As the magnets are heavy, they are suited to a fridge or a magnetic message board, rather than a weaker metal surface. Please insure your surface is magnetic before purchasing!

Ships as lettermail from Toronto, Canada. They will be shipped with a protective cardboard wrap to prevent damage. Insurance and tracking numbers are included with all US and some international shipments.
