Description
I’m not at all fond of the huge basilica that tops Paris’ Montmartre hill, but its busy lines and curves look great in stark black and white. The finish and wood on this piece has mellowed into a beautiful honey color.
This listing is for one solid pine wood photo block typically described as 6×6, though the milled size puts it closer to 5.5 inches square. It is just shy of 1 inch deep. The toner print is applied and revealed by hand, and is drawn from my personal photography. The back of the piece is titled, signed and dated in ink. You will receive the print shown in this listing’s photographs.
The block is sold without any hanging hardware. I recommend mounting it with Command Strips, or standing it upright on a desk, shelf or mantelpiece – it will stand on any flat surface. Note that the wood will deepen into a honey colour with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight (I think this makes the wood look nicer!)
