Description

I’ve been a Civil War buff since I was a little kid, and made these bookmarks for myself as much as anyone else!

This is my “Brothers vs. Brothers” set, comprising

*Abraham Lincoln
*Ulysses S Grant
*George B McClellan
*Phil Sheridan
*Tecumseh Sherman
*George H Thomas
*George Meade
*William Scott Hancock

on the Union side and

*Jefferson Davis
*Robert E Lee
*James Longstreet
*JEB Stuart
*Joe Johnston
*Nathan Bedford Forrest
*Stonewall Jackson
*John B Gordon

on the Confederate side. There are also two miniature bookmarks featuring famous subordinates on both sides: John S Mosby and Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain. The portraits are my own work, drawn from period photographs of the generals and President. I have included the men’s signatures in metallic blue and red foil for extra flash.

This listing is for a set of 18 6″x1.5″ and two miniature laminated paper bookmarks which are handmade with foil prints in metallic blue on baby blue, and metallic red on gray cardstock. The foil shimmers as the light on it changes. You may receive a different set to the one pictured in this listing. As each foil print bears distinctive patterns, every bookmark set is unique.

Ships as lettermail from Toronto, Canada. They will be shipped with a protective recycled cardboard wrap to prevent bending. Insurance and tracking numbers are included with all US shipments and can be added to Canadian and some international shipments with a shipping upgrade.
