A l’Olivier, Paris, France

I live in a particularly dull and industrial part of Toronto, and there aren’t many local shops to frequent, and no inspiring ones. My living situation is one of the reasons I travel so frequently. Paris is a particular favourite because the entire city seems to be composed of "mom and pop" shops.  This photo was taken at A l’Olivier, a store that sells olive oil and olive-related products. Due to both practicality and finances (I am a very budgety budget traveller) I’ve never bought anything there, but I go in every time I pass by. The rush of smells when you first step in is intoxicating.
