The highlight of this highlight-heavy museum is the floor-to-ceiling tank on the bottom floor, housing sharks, sea turtles, skates, rays and a veritable university of fish. It’s especially surprising when you come to it after exploring the top floor, which is a museum in the 19th century’s model – full of skeletons and specimens preserved in jars. The life and colour on display in this tank are a welcome view of how science has evolved since those times.
