#GordDowniesCanada is trending on Twitter. A really beautiful gesture to a wonderful patriot and countryman. Everyone’s posting images of the Canada mentioned in his songs, or of the Canadian landscapes that he might have seen on his travels. My first thought for a post was this scene spotted very, very far from Canadian soil, but I think it would be encompassed in Gord Downie’s Canada, too.
