Rotterdam is a new city under a Disneyfied façade of old. Most of the ancient city was levelled in the war, but small pockets can still be found. Next to the Delfshaven, though, is something that belongs neither to the brick and wood of the Renaissance city nor to the concrete and glass modern city: An art nouveau townhouse whose swooping green door looks like the entranceway to Oz.
