The Great Wave Kiwagura – 4″ wood block reproduction of vintage Japanese art print of boats and Mount Fuji

This is the famous Great Wave off Mount Fuji by the Japanese printmaker, Kiwagura.

This listing is for one solid pine wood photo block typically described as 4×4 inches, though the milled size puts it closer to 3.5 inches square. It is just shy of 1″ inch deep. The print is revealed by hand in blue and red metallic foil on white cardstock, and affixed to the block with a sealant. The edges are done with metallic foil print leftovers in a distressed style. The back of the piece is titled, signed and dated in ink. You will receive a different print shown in this listing’s photographs. The process is entirely handmade, so each print comes out unique.

The block is sold without any hanging hardware. You can mount it with Command Strips (available upon request for an extra fee), or stand it upright on a desk, shelf or mantelpiece.
