I got caught up in NASA fever last summer, with the 50th anniversary of the Apollo landing. This is my “Mercury” set, comprising astronauts Gordon Cooper, Gus Grissom, Alan Shepard, Wally Schirra, John Glenn, Deke Slayton and Scott Carpenter, and one for rocket scientist Werner Von Braun. There is a mini bookmark of the Mercury program logo. The portraits are my own work, drawn from period photographs of the astronauts. I have included the men’s signatures in metallic silver foil for extra flash.

This listing is for a set of 8 6″x1.5″ laminated paper bookmarks which are handmade with foil prints in metallic silver on gray cardstock. The foil shimmers as the light on it changes. You may receive a different set to the one pictured in this listing. As each foil print bears distinctive patterns, every bookmark set is unique.

Ships as lettermail from Toronto, Canada. They will be shipped with a protective recycled cardboard wrap to prevent bending. Insurance and tracking numbers are included with all US shipments and can be added to Canadian and some international shipments with a shipping upgrade.
