It’s taken me many years to include people in my photos. (I’ve never liked having my own photo taken so I project that onto others.) There have been a few instances lately where I can’t resist a surreptitious shot. I’m not sure if this visitor to the Berlin holocaust museum was simply checked his phone or was as overwhelmed by the gut wrenching exhibits as I was. Regardless, I was struck by the dramatic lighting behind him.
